Summary (not a substitute for the Terms): MacroMint offers nutrition & activity tracking. It’s not medical advice. Subscriptions auto-renew via Apple unless you cancel in Settings. Deleting the app won’t cancel a subscription.
1) Contract & acceptance
By downloading, accessing, or using MacroMint, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, do not use the app.
2) Eligibility
You must be 13+ (or older where required). In the EEA/UK, users under 16 must have parental consent where required by law.
3) Health disclaimer
MacroMint provides wellness tracking and educational content only. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent disease. Consult a physician before starting any diet or exercise program. In emergencies, call your local emergency number.
4) Account, Sign-in & Security
You may sign in using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and sign-in credentials and for all activity under your account.
5) Subscriptions & billing (In-App Purchase)
How it works: Paid features are sold via Apple In-App Purchase. When you confirm, your Apple ID is charged.
Auto-renew: Subscriptions auto-renew for the selected period (e.g., monthly/annual) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Manage or cancel: Go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Trials: If offered, trials convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before trial end. Unused trial portions are forfeited when you purchase.
Pricing changes: If we change prices, Apple may notify you and request consent; otherwise your subscription won’t renew at the new price.
Refunds: Handled by Apple under App Store policies. We don’t issue refunds directly.
Access: We may suspend or revoke access if a payment fails and isn’t resolved (Apple’s Billing Grace Period may apply if enabled).
6) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
(a) misuse MacroMint, reverse engineer, or circumvent security;
(b) upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content;
(c) use MacroMint to provide medical advice or for any unlawful purpose.
7) Health data & permissions
We access Apple HealthKit data only with your explicit permission and only to deliver features (e.g., activity calories, rings, coaching). We do not use HealthKit data for advertising or sell it. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Health Settings. Some features may not function without the relevant permissions.
8) Ownership & license
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use MacroMint on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms. We retain all rights, title, and interest in MacroMint.
9) User content
If you submit or upload content (e.g., meal photos), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve MacroMint. You must have the necessary rights to the content you upload.
10) Third-party services
MacroMint may depend on third-party services (e.g., Apple, AWS). We are not responsible for their availability or policies.
11) Warranty disclaimer
MacroMint is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
12) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues, arising from or related to your use of MacroMint. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (i) the amount you paid for MacroMint in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (ii) USD 50.
13) Termination
You may stop using MacroMint at any time (remember to cancel subscriptions via Apple to avoid further charges). We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.
14) Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. We’ll post changes in-app and update the effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
15) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (without regard to conflict-of-laws rules). Courts in the UAE shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law mandates otherwise.

17) Apple-required EULA terms (supplement)
Acknowledgement: These Terms are between you and ProTech Software Labs FZ-LLC, not Apple.
Scope of License: Your license is limited as set out in Section 8 and the App Store Terms of Service.
Maintenance & Support: We (not Apple) are responsible for support. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance/support.
Warranty: To the extent any warranty exists, we (not Apple) are responsible. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligations.
Product Claims: We are responsible for addressing claims related to the app or your possession/use, including product-liability, legal compliance, or IP claims.
IP Rights: If a third party claims the app or your use infringes IP rights, we (not Apple) are responsible for investigation/defense/settlement as required by law.
Legal Compliance: You represent you are not located in a country subject to U.S. embargo or on any U.S. prohibited party list.
Third-Party Beneficiary: Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
